Our School Vision

Towne Avenue School is a K-5 learning environment where "Rigorous Teaching-Rigorous Learning" is evident in all curricular areas. Student success is achieved through purposeful student-centered curriculum which is based on the standards of the California State Frameworks. Utilizing a variety of teaching strategies, technology, and District-approved materials, students demonstrate their successful learning through portfolios, projects, performances, and demonstrations that reflect all of the learning styles and strengths of the students at Towne Avenue School. School staff, parents and students work together to enrich the multicultural experiences, and promote academic success and social interactions which are vital to creating life-long learners.
